I believe Ange is good enough if Spurs ambition is targeting place in Europa League and occasional run for domestic cup. If ambition is to compete for EPL title and to be a perennial fixture in CL then we need a better manager. Ange ball is not the system that can deliver against good clubs.

I'm a big Ange supporter but I respect the differing opinions on Ange. I disagree with most and agree with some. Firstly, give Ange some respect for taking this job from Tottenham Hotspur where nearly all managers get shafted by Levy. He's definitely a lot braver than other elite managers like Nagelsmann and Arne who declined the job offer from Tottenham Hotspur. They don't want to risk their reputation unlike Ange. Ange may be agreeable to some extent which is quite unlike him but he can only work within the parameters from the incompetent chairman of Levy. Agreeing with Levy may encourage a positive relationship and that may mean more positive investment into the football in the future. Secondly, I'm frankly sick of the narrative of wanting him out because he doesn't adapt and is stubborn. Yes, that's true to some extent but it's for a good reason and people don't know why. This is a long term strategy. If certain players don't fit his system after a long period of testing, there's a clear indicator there and will be backed up by data to get rid of the player and buy a new player. We are going the Man City direction with this data route. Scott Munn and Ange were part of the Man City group with Melbourne City, Yokohama and Celtic. Ange is all about drilling his philosophy. The players must adapt, the system doesn't adapt to the players. Thirdly, Ange hasn't spent the estimated figure of 300 million euros like some people have said. Most signings weren't his true choices, he accepted them, that doesn't mean he truly wanted them. The whole recruitment side of the signings have been poor since Ange was appointed. The strategy is to have players on low wages but it doesn't mean all the players have to be bad. That's where the jobs of the scouts show up which have been awful so far in getting what Ange wants. This needs to improve and we are still in the early stages. Levy is starting small on investing in the football squad but I believe he will start spending on proven quality if the results start to get away from the 4th place on the EPL ladder. The positive conclusion is that there has been a change of direction. Levy wants to stick to attacking football, wants to trust more in the youth and wants to rely on data to make decisions about player performance, in-game tactics and player transfers. This is a good thing as Levy will less likely to make rash and bad decisions.
He doesn't coach set pieces He doesn't work with great coaches He doesn't put his arm around the players He doesn't select good players He doesn't make tactical changes He doesn't improve individuals. He doesn't coach defenders Just imagine if he did all of those things. But he doesn't and he won't. Which is why he has to go.

He's definitely a lot braver than other elite managers like Nagelsmann and Arne who declined the job offer from Tottenham Hotspur. They don't want to risk their reputation unlike Ange. Ange may be agreeable to some extent which is quite unlike him but he can only work within the parameters from the incompetent chairman of Levy. Agreeing with Levy may encourage a positive relationship and that may mean more positive investment into the football in the future.
Secondly, I'm frankly sick of the narrative of wanting him out because he doesn't adapt and is stubborn. Yes, that's true to some extent but it's for a good reason and people don't know why. This is a long term strategy. If certain players don't fit his system after a long period of testing, there's a clear indicator there and will be backed up by data to get rid of the player and buy a new player. We are going the Man City direction with this data route. Scott Munn and Ange were part of the Man City group with Melbourne City, Yokohama and Celtic. Ange is all about drilling his philosophy. The players must adapt, the system doesn't adapt to the players.
Thirdly, Ange hasn't spent the estimated figure of 300 million euros like some people have said. Most signings weren't his true choices, he accepted them, that doesn't mean he truly wanted them. The whole recruitment side of the signings have been poor since Ange was appointed. The strategy is to have players on low wages but it doesn't mean all the players have to be bad. That's where the jobs of the scouts show up which have been awful so far in getting what Ange wants. This needs to improve and we are still in the early stages. Levy is starting small on investing in the football squad but I believe he will start spending on proven quality if the results start to get away from the 4th place on the EPL ladder.
The positive conclusion is that there has been a change of direction. Levy wants to stick to attacking football, wants to trust more in the youth and wants to rely on data to make decisions about player performance, in-game tactics and player transfers. This is a good thing as Levy will less likely to make rash and bad decisions.

We are signing good young players and yea we need maybe another two or three more established ones to bolster the team but at least we can see a project some players need to have a word with themselves and start becoming more robust when we have to dig in but we get a new manger with a differ ent ethos and have to change the playing staff again we need to get behind the team and ange imo
I lost faith in ange in pre season when I saw nothing tacticly had changed, followed by an awful transfer window.
I think he's out of his depth, nieve, arrogant and stubborn.
I think the problem is the hierarchy but ange is not the solution. Get rid now and try to salvage the season we are on a downward spiral with ange in charge.
